Clough confirms Fielding as first choice goalkeeper
Manager Nigel Clough has confirmed that summer signing Frank Fielding will start the season as his first choice goalkeeper.
Also new signing Adam Legzdins,Last seasons player of the year at Burton, will start the season as Fielding's understudy.
Clough's goalkeper options don't end their he has 21 year old Ross Atkins who is thought to be going out on loan to Burton, there is also 19 year old James Severn. Stephen Bywater is still a Derby player but there are huge question marks over his future at Derby, he has been linked with a move to Cardiff City. Finnally 28 year old Saul Deeney has been rumoured that he may get released from Derby.
